This conference explored our understanding of how human capital is acquired and formed, as well as its measurement and impact on various sectors of the economy. Conference participants examined the roles of education, health, and school accountability in the development of human capital. Additionally, scholars investigated the global rise in highly educated women.

The event was cosponsored with the Center of Human Capital at University at Buffalo, the State University of New York.
