UChicago Economists Participate in 6th Lindau Meeting on Economic Sciences

At the Aug. 22-26 Lindau Meetings, 17 Nobel Laureates in Economic Sciences met 350 international young economists from 66 countries. UChicago Economists Lars Peter Hansen, James Heckman, and Roger Myerson participated in a diverse set of presentations. Hansen, the David Rockefeller Distinguished Service Professor in Economics, Statistics and the Booth School of Business, presented on "Wrestling with Uncertainty in Climtate Economic Models." James Heckman, the Henry Schultz Distinguished Service Professor of Economics, presented on "Unordered Monotonicity" and was in a closing panel on inequality. Roger Myerson, the Glen A. Lloyd Distinguished Service Professor of Economics, presented on the "Local Agency Costs of Political Centralisation."
