Carolyn Sloane is an Assistant Professor of Economics at the University of California- Riverside. Her primary research areas are labor economics, public economics, and political economy. Specifically, her current research topics pertain to the consequences of rising wage inequality, persistence in non-participation, and talent allocation in the public sector. Her teaching areas are special topics in labor, special topics in political economy, macro and housing.
She earned a Doctor of Philosophy, Public Policy from the University of Chicago in 2016.
