Corina Tarnita is an assistant professor in the Department of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology at Princeton University. Her research interests include evolutionary dynamics—in particular, evolutionary game theory employed to study complex interactions and the evolution of cooperation—cognitive psychology, and behavioral economics.

Tarnita received her bachelor's degree (magna cum laude) in mathematics in 2006 and her PhD in mathematics in June 2009, both from Harvard University. She then was a junior fellow in the Harvard Society of Fellows from 2010 to 2013.
