Grant Gannaway’s research centers on health economics, urban economics, and the intersection between the two. His current work focuses on the effects and the inefficiencies of the Medicaid program and the role of geographic access in obtaining medical care. He is also interested in spatial factors in the markets for illegal drugs, immigration, and housing.
He is a third-year economics PhD student at the University of Chicago. Gannaway holds a BA in economics and mathematics from Brigham Young University.
