Guy David’s focuses his research on applied microeconomics, emergency medical services, health economics, industrial organization, nonprofit organizations, post-acute care, primary care and regulation.

He is an Associate Professor in the Department of Health Care Management at the Wharton School, of University of Pennsylvania, a Faculty Research Fellow at the National Bureau of Economic Research, and a Senior Fellow at the Leonard Davis Institute of Health Economics at the University of Pennsylvania.

With an interest in antitrust and tax treatment of nonprofit providers and the dynamics of mixed-ownership competition in healthcare markets, David has done research exploring the various facets of health economics and health policy.

He received his B.A and M.A in Economics from Tel Aviv University, and his Ph.D. in Business Economics from the University of Chicago.
