Zach Yost is a third-year undergraduate majoring in mathematics with a specialization in economics. He is primarily interested in the fields of monetary policy, inequality, and behavioral finance. He also serves on the Federal Reserve Challenge team, and is the Station Manager for WHPK 88.5 FM, the campus radio station.
During his Brickell Metcalf internship, he worked with Larry Schmidt to identify behaviors and biases exhibited by investors which lead to suboptimal trading decisions. Future research topics may include the risks and returns associated with human capital.
