Williams's research is focused in labor, public, and health economics. She is currently a PhD student in economics at Harvard, intending to graduate in 2010. Williams received a bachelor's degree in mathematics from Dartmouth College in 2003, a master's degree in development economics from Oxford in 2004, and spent several years working for Amy Finkelstein of MIT and Michael Kremer of Harvard.
