The Department of Economics at the University of Chicago announces the first annual Summer Institute on Field Experiments for scholars, to be held July 12th-16th, 2015 at the Saieh Hall for Economics. The Summer Institute will train the brightest young researchers to partner with key stakeholders in government, industry, and the not-for-profit sector to solve the unique problems faced in society through applying economic theory and rigorous field experiment methods. Interested researchers will be selected via a competitive application process. The Institute also seeks practitioner partners who are willing to be “matched” to the most promising of the Institute’s participants to work together and design solutions to problems they face.
If you are an interested practitioner, please fill out this short form and include your contact information to indicate your interest. The organizers will contact you by May 15, 2015 to provide additional materials to continue with the application process.
