The annual Women in Macro Conference brings together influential women economists from around the world working in the field of macroeconomics, broadly defined. The objective of the conference is to feature the high-quality work of women in a field in which they are significantly under-represented. It provides participants an informal venue to strengthen their research and build their network, particularly to women at early stages of their careers.

Attendance to this conference is limited but a recording of the discussion will be made available following the event. Please contact bfi-events@uchicago.edu if you are interested in participating.

The conference is being held in Gleacher Center Room 408. All participants are staying at The Loews Hotel.

For everyone’s peace of mind, we encourage you to take a rapid COVID test before the conference (the day before or the day of the conference) and to wear a mask when indoors. We will have extra tests and masks available at the conference for your convenience.
