The BFI Invitational: Driving the Future of Economics is a golf outing hosted by the Becker Friedman Institute for Economics on September 14-15, 2026. This event will pair time on the golf course with in-depth conversations alongside University of Chicago scholars, BFI Leadership, and business leaders. We will bring together researchers and leaders to explore the economic questions reshaping markets, policy, and society. Designed to foster meaningful relationships and long-term partnerships, this event is an invitation to engage with ideas that matter and to help shape the future of economic insight.
This event is by invitation only. If you are interested in attending or have any questions, please email bfi-events@uchicago.edu.
