Canceled – Health Economics Initiative Annual Conference
EVENT CANCELED
As the global health situation involving the Coronavirus (COVID-19) continues to evolve, the Becker Friedman Institute, with guidance from the University of Chicago’s Office of the Provost, have decided that the best course of action is to cancel this event. We recognize that this decision comes at a cost in terms of foregone opportunities, but the public health risks raised by the coronavirus outbreak and the safety of faculty, staff and visitors are our top priority.
The Becker Friedman Institute Health Economics Initiative’s annual conference will include a “rising stars” session featuring top health economics research from the 2019-2020 job market, along with sessions featuring more established scholars. All topics within health economics will be considered.
Funds to assist with travel and lodging expenses are available for the authors of accepted papers. Presenters are expected to attend the full conference. If you cannot attend the full conference, please note your availability in your submission.
