Governments and organizations tout using evidence to increase impact and better invest tax dollars or other forms of funding. Yet, often there are barriers to evidence uptake. During this conversation, Dr. Neela Saldanha, the Executive Directive of Y-Rise, an organization focused on working with governments to scale development interventions, such as the No Lean Season and Covid masking, will discuss advising social impact organizations and governments and building and leading institutions. Based on her experience in both the public and private sectors, she will offer her unique insights on the ways governments and organizations use (or not use) evidence.
