Nobel Laureate Gary Becker and Edward Lazear, 24th Chairman of the Council of Economic Advisers, led a dynamic discussion of the future of US economic policy at the Chicago Economics Society's inaugural annual event in Washington, DC.

The Society is a group of University of Chicago alumni who share an interest in economic research and related policy issues.  Professors Becker and Lazear shared insights based on their research, writing, and public policy experience.
