Robert M. Townsend, the Elizabeth and James Killian Professor of Economics at MIT, will be at University of Chicago Booth School of Business for an informal seminar on Thursday, February 20. Townsend will begin with a presentation of his joint work with Weerachart "Tee" Kilenthong on a general equilibrium model with default and endogenous collateralized contracts, followed by an open discussion where students can ask Professor Townsend about his work, or can bring their own research or career-oriented questions.

The event will run from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Pizza will be served.
