Aidan Valdez
Aidan is a rising sophomore majoring in Economics at Texas A&M University. He is an active participant in a freshman leadership organization that provides volunteer services to the College Station/Bryan local community. Aidan has a strong interest in economics and is currently focusing on researching the economics of education. Aidan was fortunate to experience drastically different educational opportunities, having grown up in a low-income household, then transitioning to a higher income household. Upon graduating from high school, he decided to pursue economics and a career that is focused on creating better educational opportunities for low-income households and eliminating educational inequality. Aidan is excited to use the opportunities and knowledge he gains in EDE over time to create more equitable access to education and make a positive impact in the world.
