The Macro Finance Research Program (MFR), under the auspices of the Becker Friedman Institute (BFI) at the University of Chicago, will be organizing an MFR Summer Session for PhD students looking to write a dissertation at the interplay of macroeconomics and finance.
The MFR Summer Session will be a 4-day program held on August 1-4, 2022, hosted at The University of Chicago. Local housing accommodations, travel funding and food will be funded by MFR for the duration of the summer session for selected participants.
The MFR Program is led by Professor Lars Peter Hansen, the David Rockefeller Distinguished Service Professor in Economics, Statistics, and the Booth School of Business at the University of Chicago, who is also the recipient of the 2013 Nobel Prize in Economics.
