Constantine Yannelis, Assistant Professor of Finance, Booth School of Business, testified to the United States Senate Committee on Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs Subcommittee on Economic Policy on Tuesday, April 13, 2021. In the hearing, “The Student Debt Burden and Its Impact on Racial Justice, Borrowers, & The Economy,” Yannelis presented his research on the distributional impacts of student debt cancellation.
