Abhisit “AJ” Jiranaphawiboon is a fifth-year PhD student in Economic Policy and Analysis at Stanford Graduate School of Business and a visiting researcher at Harvard University’s Department of Economics. His research studies urban economics and crime using quantitative spatial models. His current work examines how the allocation of police within cities shapes crime and residential welfare across demographic groups. Prior to his doctoral studies, he was a research fellow at the Stanford Institute for Economic Policy Research, where he worked with Rebecca Diamond.
