Alessandro Bonatti is an applied economist with expertise in microeconomic theory, industrial organization, advertising, and game theory. His work investigates the role of incentives in both research and creative industries, as well as the way that technology affects firms’ online advertising and pricing strategies.
Bonatti’s work has been recognized by a Paul Geroski Best Paper Award from the International Journal of Industrial Organization. He sits on the conference program committees for the World Congress of the Game Theory Society, the Stanford Institute for Theoretical Economics, the ACM Conference on Economics and Computation, and the North American Summer Meetings of the Econometric Society.
Bonatti received his laurea from Università di Napoli Federico and holds an M.A., an M.Phil and a Ph.D from Yale University.
