Amit Yaron is the Robert Morris Professor of Banking and Professor of Finance at Wharton School. Previously, he was named the Gilbert and Shelly Harrison Term Associate Professor at Wharton. Before Wharton, he worked at Carnegie Mellon University.
His research interests include asset pricing, international financing, macro-finance, macro economics and applied time series econometrics. In 2004, he was awarded Smith Breeden Award for Distinguished Papers. In 1994, he won the Alfred Sloan Dissertation Fellowship.
He received his Ph.D. from the University of Chicago in 1994.
