Andrea O. Griffin is BFI’s Financial Administrator. Andrea has been at UChicago since June 30, 2025 and she comes to BFI after serving a total of 22 years at a well known and respected advertising agency here in Chicago, Burrell Communications Group, LLC.
Andrea started her career at Burrell as a Data Entry Clerk. After numerous promotions, in 2021 Andrea was ultimately promoted to Accounting Manager, where she remained until joining BFI. There she managed accounts payable, department budgets and month and year end close. Andrea was apart of the implementation team, helping to facilitate the company to “Go Live” on their new ERP system, NetSuite.
Andrea earned her AA in Applied Science and a Paralegal certificate from an ABA approved program at South Suburban College in South Holland, IL.
