Aria Saxena is a sophomore at the University of Chicago double-majoring in Computer Science and Economics. As a Research Translation Intern with BFI’s Data Studio, she distills empirical economic research into accessible, data-driven briefs for academic and public audiences. Her research interests lie at the intersection of behavioral economics and environmental policy, reflected in her published work on green nudges and consumer decision-making in urban Indian markets. She has also conducted field-based climate research in India through the University’s Institute for Climate and Sustainable Growth, engaging with organizations including EPIC-India, the World Resources Institute, and the World Bank. On campus, she leads the publications team at the Chicago Economics Forum, overseeing 50+ articles reaching thousands of UChicago students, faculty, and alumni.
