Ben Lester is the current senior Economic Adviser and Economist at the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia while previously acting as an Associate Professor and Bank of Montreal Professor at the University of Western Ontario.
His research focuses on macroeconomics, monetary policy, the relationship between markets and firms and domestic policy. He has been invited all across the world to present and has been published in noted publications such as the Journal of Economic Theory, American Economic Review, and other relevant journals.
He received his B.A. in Economics from Cornell University and his Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania.
