Brianna Youngblood is a Pre-doctoral Research Professional at BFI under the Social Inequality Initiative. Prior to BFI, Brianna worked as a Clinical Research Coordinator for the Department of Veterans Affairs’ Centers of Innovation where she used data driven approaches to identify social factors in electronic health records. She hopes to use her public health background to provide a unique social lens for economic research. Her research interests focus on combining social science and economic theory to address socioeconomic inequalities. Brianna received her B.S. in Biological Sciences from Clemson University, MPH in Behavioral and Social Sciences from the University of Florida, and a Master of Arts from the University of Chicago’s Harris School of Public Policy.
