Francesco Lippi has research interests in macroeconomics, monetary economics, household finance, and time series analysis.
Currently, he is a professor of economics at the Einaudi Institute for Economics and Finance, Rome. He also serves as a research fellow at that institution and the University of Sassari. His previous post was head of the Monetary Analysis Unit in the research department of the Bank of Italy.
In addition to serving as referee for several journals, Lippi has been published in many major journals of economics and has been associate editor of the International Journal of Central Banking since 2005.
Lippi has a laurea in economics from Università Luigi Bocconi, Milan. He received a PhD in economics from the Tinbergen Institute/Erasmus University Rotterdam in the Netherlands.
Lippi will present at Chicago Booth's Macro/International Economics Workshop on October 12.
