Francesco Schivardi works as a Predoctoral Research Professional with the Industrial Organization Initiative at the Becker Friedman Institute. He holds an MSc in Economic and Social Sciences from Università Bocconi, where he also completed his Bachelor’s degree. Prior to joining BFI, he was a trainee with the Chief Economist Team at the European Commission’s DG Competition. His research interests include industrial organization and applied microeconomics, with a particular focus on the economics of crime and empirical work drawing on historical data.
