Mark Egan is interested in research questions concerned with financial intermediaries, industrial organization, and health economics.
He is currently an assistant professor of finance at the Harvard Business School. Previously, he taught at the University of Minnesota's Carlson School of Management.
Egan received his MA and PhD in economics from the University of Chicago in 2012 and 2015, respectively. He received his BA in economics from Middlebury College in 2008.
