Morten Ravn

Morten Ravn is a current professor of Economics at the University College London and a Research Professor at Deutsche Bundesbank. He was previously a professor at the University of Southhampton.

He has acted as a Coordinating Joint Managing Editor of the Economic Journal since 2013 and is the co-director of the ESRC Centre for Macroeconomics.

His research focuses on macroeconomics, fiscal policy, tax policy and monetary policy. His recent research has pertained to aggregate demand and the idiosyncratic risk, expectations and the crisis, deep habits, and participation choices and macro labor fluctuations. He won the Carlsbergfondet, funding for Normac in 2016.

He received his Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Southhampton.
