Ramtin Salamat is a PhD student in Managerial Economics and Strategy at Northwestern University. His research focuses on microeconomic theory, particularly mechanism design and information economics. He is interested in how incentives and information shape strategic behavior in markets and institutions. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Sharif University of Technology in Tehran, Iran. Before starting his PhD, he worked in the private sector as an auction designer, where he gained practical experience applying economic theory to real-world market settings.
