Siyuan Hu

Siyuan Hu is a PhD student in Applied Economics at the University of Wisconsin, Madison. His research applies price-theoretic tools to questions in public, urban, and environmental economics, with a focus on how incentives, information, and institutions shape household behavior and market outcomes. His current work studies lead service line replacement, zoning, and air quality, and the local effects of externalities.
