The fourth Rohit and Harvanit Kumar Conference on Early Childhood Development brought together an interdisciplinary group of scholars that represent various areas of expertise and whose work included robust methodologies for measuring parental influence on child development. Conference speakers presented new theoretical arguments as well as new empirical findings on interventions aimed at supporting parents. This conference is supported by a gift from Rohit and Harvanit Kumar to the Becker Friedman Institute (BFI) at the University of Chicago.
