Madhi Shahrabi is currently a third-year PhD student in Economics at the University of Pennsylvania. His research focuses on understanding the role of price informativeness in financial markets and examining how information is disseminated among economic agents. The goal is to understand the complex interactions between information, market behavior, and decision-making by investors and policymakers. He is particularly interested in using advanced computational methods to address traditional economic questions, aiming to uncover insights through data analysis. Before starting his PhD, he earned a Master’s degree in Economics from the Tehran Institute of Advanced Studies (TeIAS). His academic path began with a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Sharif University of Technology.
