Andreas Kraft is interested in the consequences of economic frictions (e.g., bounded rationality or informational) across various settings and their effect on marketing actions. His research combines analytical economic models with various empirical tools.
Kraft is originally from Vienna, Austria, and came to the U.S. on a full scholarship to play wheelchair basketball at the University of Texas in Arlington. Kraft was awarded the Fred Moore Assistant Instructor Award for Teaching Excellence (2022) (awarded to the top 2 assistant instructors each year in the business school).
Kraft received a PhD in quantitative marketing from the University of Texas at Austin. Additionally, he earned a BBA in finance and MA in economics at the University of Texas at Arlington.
