Drishti Baid is a PhD student in Public Policy and Management at the University of Southern California and a Predoctoral Researcher at the Leonard D. Schaeffer Center for Health Policy and Economics. Her dissertation examines the role of competition on innovation and access in the US pharmaceutical market. Her prior research also examines methodological issues pertaining to cost-effectiveness analyses, measurement of patient preferences, value-based pricing, and health outcomes research. Baid earned a Bachelors of Arts in Economics at the National University of Singapore in 2017 and a Master’s in Public Policy at the USC Sol Price School of Public Policy in 2024. Before starting graduate school, she worked on several academic research projects evaluating the societal impacts of chronic diseases as a Senior Research Analyst at Duke-NUS Medical School in Singapore.
