Nathan Lazarus

Nathan Lazarus is a PhD student at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He was a pre-doctoral researcher for Simon Jäger. He works mostly in labor economics, and is especially interested in market power in labor markets. In one project, He studies worker schedules using data from a payroll provider, and studies firms set attributes like week-to-week volatility and notice. In other projects, he studies the effect of worker deaths on coworkers’ wages and worker monitoring.
