Roxana Mihet is a graduate student in the Department of Economics at NYU, Stern School of Business. She is specializing in macro-finance and information economics. Her current research analyzes the implications of a data-driven economy on inequality, welfare, and competition policy. Prior to entering graduate school, Roxana obtained an MPhil degree in Economics from the University of Oxford, Nuffield College, and a BA degree in Economics from the University of Chicago. Roxana also worked for two years in the research department at the IMF, where she published various papers on macro-financial imbalances and policies for monetary and financial stability.
