Yu Shi is a finance PhD candidate at UCLA Anderson School of Management. Her research focuses on the relationship between financial markets and the macroeconomy. Recent work includes studies of life insurance companies’ investment constraints, life cycle firm ownership, and capital reallocation. Shi earned a B.A. in finance from Peking University and received her master in finance from MIT.
