Diana Petrova serves as the Executive Director of the MFR Program, where she provides strategic leadership in collaboration with the MFR faculty director, Professor Lars Peter Hansen, and the advisory committee. Together, they develop and implement plans to advance the program’s growth and intellectual mission. Diana oversees the program’s budget, staff recruitment and hiring, grant administration, and daily research operations, including organizing targeted events, conferences, and managing communications and marketing efforts to share MFR research with diverse audiences.
In her role, Diana also focuses on building partnerships with key stakeholders across governments, nonprofits, foundations, the private sector, and other University of Chicago affiliates. Before joining the University of Chicago, she worked with Purdue University-Fort Wayne, supporting the Chancellor until 2016, and brings prior experience in investment services.
