Emmanuel Bakirdjian is a Director at DIL, supporting the safe water initiative in Kenya, Nigeria, and India. Emmanuel is passionate about developing, testing, evaluating, and scaling innovations that improve the lives of people living in poverty. Prior to DIL, Emmanuel was the Africa Regional Director at Precision Development (PxD), where he led a multi-country team implementing large-scale and evidence-led digital advisory services for smallholder farmers in East and West Africa. Emmanuel holds a MPhil in Development Economics and a MSc in Economic Development and Project Analysis from CERDI (Centre for Studies and Research on International Development), University of Clermont Auvergne, France.
