María Alejandra Rodríguez is a Predoctoral Research Professional working with professor Alessandra Voena on the Ronzetti Initiative for the Study of Labor Markets. She assists on research projects that explore how household and labor market decisions are jointly determined. Her research interests are in labor economics, economic theory and econometrics. María Alejandra completed her M.A. in Economics at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver in 2019. She also holds a M.A. and B.A. in Economics from Universidad del Pacífico in Peru. Prior to her program at UBC, María Alejandra worked as an analyst at the Central Reserve Bank of Peru.
