Ngan Tran is a third-year PhD student at the University of Oregon. Her research interests lie at the intersection of labor, international economics, and political economy. Her most recent research evaluates the impact of trade liberalization on the gender wage gap in Vietnam. Originally from Vietnam, she got her Master’s degree in International Political Economy & Development from Fordham University and worked for the Economist Intelligence Unit prior to joining the University of Oregon.
