Saloni Taneja is a second-year PhD student at the University of Southern California, focusing on applied microeconomics within the fields of environment and development economics. Prior to joining the University of Southern California, she worked as a research associate at J-PAL South Asia, where she assisted with randomized controlled trials on various projects, including wage insurance and the public distribution system in India. Saloni holds a Master’s degree in Economics from Ashoka University and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Delhi University.
