Timothy Armstrong specializes in econometrics and industrial organization. His recent research has focused on ways to make inferences with only partial information.
Armstrong is now an assistant professor of economics at Yale University. He was awarded the 2011-2012 B.F. Haley and E.S. Shaw Fellowship in recognition of his scholarship.
Armstrong graduated Reed College, Phi Beta Kappa, with a bachelor of arts in economics-mathematics from Reed College. He went on to earn his PhD from Stanford University in 2012.
