Vitor is a PhD Candidate in Economics at Clemson University, a Fellow at the Initiative on Enabling Choice & Competition in Healthcare at the University of Chicago, and a doctoral fellow at the Mercatus Center. His research explores the effects of healthcare and labor regulations, differences in ownership structure, immigration policies, the effects and measurement of rent-seeking activity, among other topics.
