Yessica Castaneda is a rising junior at Florida International University. She plans to study Sociology with a concentration in economics. Yessica is passionate about leveraging economic principles to address social inequalities. Eager to deepen her understanding of monetary policy and its impact on marginalized communities, Yessica is committed to fostering inclusivity within the field. She is excited to attend EDE to amplify underrepresented voices in economic discourse, focusing on empowering individuals from similar backgrounds to pursue economics careers.
