Yuan is a doctoral candidate in Public Policy at Harvard University, with a passion for understanding how social and psychological factors impact decision-making in low-resource environments. His current research examines the interplay between psychological well-being and employment relationships in the workplace, and how this influences self-care behaviors and worker productivity. Yuan is also exploring ways to help low-income high school students navigate uncertainty about their choice of college majors. Prior to embarking on his doctoral studies, Yuan spent two years working at the University of Pennsylvania, and earned his undergraduate degree from the University of California, Berkeley.
