Zhen Xie

Zhen Xie is a Predoctoral Research Professional at the Becker Friedman Institute, working with Professor Guillaume Pouliot.  He is broadly interested in econometric theory, statistical methodologies, and corresponding nonstandard optimization problems. Recently, he is working on synthetic control methods, spatial econometrics, and computation strategies for a class of econometric problems. Zhen obtained his B.A. from Xi’an Jiaotong University, where he studied economics and mathematics.
