Kayla Layden is a PhD student in Economics at the University of Arizona. Her research interests lie in Energy and Environmental Economics and Industrial Organization with a particular focus on the impact of information, experience, and competition on organizational behaviour in response to emerging industries and expanding environmental challenges. Currently, she is working on projects related to United States wildfire fighting. Prior to starting at Arizona, she completed a Bachelor of Arts Honors in Economics at the University of Alberta in Canada, where she is originally from.
