Jian Li is a Ph.D. student in Financial Economics at the Kenneth C. Griffin Department of Economics and Booth School of Business of the University of Chicago. Her research interests are macroeconomics, finance and financial intermediation. Her current work analyzes the dynamics of intermediation chains and how that affects the vulnerability of the financial system. She is also interested in the impact of the asset management industry on systemic risk and firm dynamics. Prior to joining the University of Chicago, she received her bachelor degree in economics and finance from the University of Hong Kong.
